Note International Contracting delivered warehouse facilities for Al-Fawaz in Al-Kharj. The scope covered site enabling works and foundations, the structural frame, roof and wall cladding, industrial concrete floor slabs, loading provisions, and external hardstanding, drainage and access roads for day-to-day logistics.
The Execution Challenge
Warehouse buildings have to combine a fast, economical structure with a floor slab and yard able to take forklifts and heavy vehicles for years. Setting-out accuracy for steelwork, joint layout in the slab, and drainage falls in the yard all had to be right first time.

Site Works & Foundations
Clearance, cut-and-fill grading, compacted sub-base, reinforced foundations and ground beams, holding-down bolts, and buried drainage and services.
Engineered fill & sub-baseStructural Frame
Fabricated and erected steel frame with bracing, purlins and side rails, gable and eaves detailing, and protective coatings suitable for the environment.

Roof sheeting and flashings, wall cladding, rooflights, roller shutter and personnel doors, and a jointed, hardened concrete floor slab to warehouse tolerances.
