Al Tameer engaged Note International Contracting to deliver the finishing package for school buildings in the Tilal Riyadh District. Work covered classrooms, laboratories, administration areas, corridors, washrooms and external areas — from plaster and screed through to painting, joinery, doors, sanitary fit-out and final cleaning for handover.
The Execution Challenge
School fit-out has to be robust, safe and easy to maintain — hard-wearing finishes, compliant balustrades and door hardware, and a fast turnaround so buildings are ready for the academic calendar. Blocks were finished and handed over in sequence.
Finishing Scope of Work
Plaster, Screed & Tiling
Internal and external plaster, floor screeds, ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tiling to classrooms, wet areas and circulation, with anti-slip finishes to ramps and stairs.
Anti-slip to circulationGypsum & Painting
Suspended and MF gypsum ceilings, bulkheads and cornices, and washable emulsion and enamel paint systems selected for school durability.
Washable paint systemsJoinery, Doors & Furniture
Timber and laminate joinery, cupboards and worktops, solid-core and fire-rated doors with ironmongery, vision panels, boards, and fixed furniture.
Fire-rated door setsWashrooms & Handover
Cubicle systems, sanitary ware and accessories, mirrors and floor drainage falls, plus cleaning, snagging and block-by-block handover to Al Tameer.

Wet Trades
Plaster, screed, tanking and tiling completed block-by-block with level and moisture checks before dry trades.
Ceilings, Paint & Joinery
Gypsum ceilings, painting systems, joinery, doors, boards and fixed furniture installed and protected ahead of second-fix.
Washrooms, Snagging & Handover
Sanitary fit-out, cubicles and accessories, final clean, snagging and de-snagging, and handover of each block to the main contractor.
